ZamZuu Is The New Networking Business Opportunity
If you don’t know or haven’t heard, ZamZuu is the new name for YTB Travel,an MLM business that has been around now for several years. The owners, the Tomer family and the CEO Kim Sorenson, would have you believe that nothing has changed but the name since the company was indicted by the state Florida for fraudulent practices as a travel company.Travel Company Training System
YTB had an image problem so they changes their name to ZamZuu and added a virtual shopping site to their travel portals Now people can make a percentage profit on the things people buy from stores on the travel websites, thus the name ZamZuu, but it is the same business with a different name.
For anyone looking for an online business, ZamZuu offers great products and lots of benefits being the only web business I know offering their members hospitalization, but I must say that YTB, or should I say ZamZuu, falls very short in several areas when it comes to online businesses.
1)ZamZuu is very expensive with a start-up cost of $500 to purchase a travel website portal. Then it is $49.95 a month or $600 a year to maintain it and you have not yet made a dime. There is also a travel agent course to get your license which is another $150 and to get in their association it is yet another $150. They really don’t dwell on that when recruiting people.
2)ZamZuu has regional training and recruiting meetings so agents can try to recruit friends, family and people they know. The Tomer Family was big in A.L. Williams Insurance and believes in a lot of hype to recruit people you know, which is all well and good until friends and family dry up and without other marketing tools agents cannot help them succeed.
3)ZamZuu is first and foremost a travel agency, which sounds really exciting and of course everyone loves to travel. However, travel is the biggest business in the world and probably the most popular on the internet. There are travel websites all over the internet doing a better job of advertising and competing for business. ZamZuu knows this, and I maintain they really don’t care if their agents sell travel as long as they recruit people at $500 a pop and $49.95 a month. I truly believe if a person only sold travel though ZamZuu and did not recruit they would have a hard time making a living.
The internet is filled with travel companies, good and bad. ZamZuu is probably one of the better ones, but it is expensive and not very helpful when it come to giving the agents what they need to succeed on line. It is imperative in MLM or any online marketing that marketing training should come first. There has to be a way for an agent to duplicate themselves and ways to market their products to everyone, not just friends and family. There should be techniques which can help get people to the web portals without having to depend on friends and family. More importantly, there needs to be procedures in place to train new members and give them the know-how to make money.
ZamZuu is a good company with lots of good products, but to succeed as a network marketer one should have a better foundation of fundamentals for recruiting and
training than they have to offer.
