Using Blog Commenting While Internet Marketing
Blogs and blogging have moved from a small personal diary to the mainstream of online communication. Blogging gives your visitors and readers the ability to interact with you quite easily. Also they allow the ability for you to update without the knowledge of HTML or any other web language. If you would prefer to work online and do not have the time to learn a form of web language (HTML, XHTMl, CSS, or PHP) then starting a blog is a great idea. Of course with the popularity of the blogosphere blogging and blog commenting have become a means of internet marketing as well. There are two main factors that drive websites to the top of Google and they are content creation and backlink building. Commenting on blogs allows you to create external links from external web presences towards whatever presence you are trying to rank well in Google for.
The rest of this article will explain how to use blog commenting when trying to market a website. I have personally spoke with webmasters who have reached a PR (Page Rank) of 4 using only blog commenting as a means of internet marketing. I usually spread my marketing efforts out to include social networking communities, social bookmarking websites, forums, article directories, and others. First off you must be able to find do follow blogs and there is several ways which to do so. I really like do follow blog finders or do follow blog search engines which you can find by doing a google search. They will bring up many different excellent searches that you can use in your search. The good thing about using search engines is you will find do follow blogs which are related and one way relevant backlinks are premier when attempting to build backlinks. The next couple ways will still help you with finding do follow blogs, but it will not be as easy to find relevant blogs to comment on. Do follow blog directories and do follow blog lists (which you can find by searching Google) are other ways which you can increase the number backlinks to your website.
When you use blog commenting in your internet marketing campaign there are a couple things to keep in mind. The first is a blog is someone’s outlet to the world and they don’t want a big ad on it. So if you are planning to type up a few ads so you can copy and paste you should expect to see all of your comments rejected and your website on the bottom of the SERPs. The second is before you place keywords into the name check the blog to see if the blogger allows this. When you look at the comments and they have keywords rather than the person’s name then feel free to place keywords into the name box. On the other hand if there is only names on top of the comments then stick with putting your name. Try to leave comments above 10 words and make sure to talk about the post. If you don’t know about what the blogger is posting about feel free to ask questions in your comment.
