When I look at the trader community, I see 3 different kind of traders
- Swing Traders who open a trade for long term, lasting for hours, days, weeks and even months.

Forex Scalping is one of the very interesting trading mathedology. If you are a scalper, you look at the forex market and charts in complete different way because you are not looking for huge amount of pips from a single trade. But, instead you are looking for trading opportunities where you can enter a market, steal reasonable pips and get out. And you look to do it number of times a day. Infact I know some forex scalpers who place as many as 10-12 trades in one single trading session.What does it tell you ?
1. First and Foremost, you get a lot of opportunities to make some quick profits..every day! You open a trade, make quick 15-30 pips per lot and then get out immediately.
2. The other advantage is that you can make these pips by going with the trend or by going against the trend..Trend direction won’t matter since scalpers open the trade at precise points where they know that probability of a trade ending in profit is high
3. In a trading session, you can choose to trade whenever you want. Since you get multiple opportunities a day, if you miss one of them you can expect another setup to occur soon.
So, definitely Scalping is a very unique and profitable way to trade currency pairs. But, it must be done by using a proven system.
